Rockfit yoga is now offering Hatha yoga!

Classes are 60-75 minutes in length

Our classes are presented with a focus on alignment and a deepening of awareness of the body - mind connection.

These classes are designed to help you establish a yoga foundation, learn the basics of the poses, and guide you in finding strength, stability, and balance on and off the mat.

Classes will begin with a few moments of centering before moving into a yoga sequence designed to provide a guided journey and physical evolution of the practice. Each class will end with a few moments of rest to help you transition back into the world peacefully.

If you are already a member of the Rockfit community, our classes will be tailored to help deepen and enhance your current wellness practice. We aren't your typical gym yoga - our overall approach is to incorporate poses that support and reinforce what you are already doing in your wellness practice.

All of our instructors have graduated from a Yoga Alliance certified yoga shala (yoga school) with a minimum of a 200 hour RYT certification.

Unless indicated, all classes and workshops are open to all levels. Whether you are new to the practice of yoga or have been practicing for years, our classes are for you!

We will be offering a weekly meet & greet and community time on Sunday mornings immediately following the Sunday morning class. This time has been set aside for you to come experience the studio well as meet the teachers and fellow students. This is a space we hold for you. Tea and coffee will be available, or you may bring your own.

Yoga Tips

Welcome to Yoga at Rockfit!

Since this is a new offering and very different from the other classes we have available, we wanted to take this opportunity to share some tips to help you have the best experience possible!

  • We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to class to get your mat setup and get settled in
  • Be sure the teacher is aware of any mobility issues, health conditions, current or past injuries so that s/he can be sure to provide you with modifications that maximize your experience
  • Refrain from eating within two hours of practice
  • We have provided mat cleaner and towels to use for cleaning your mat
  • If using a studio mat, use the spray provided to clean it for the next person before rolling it up and putting it away
